About

I am a retired New York City judge. In 1974, I graduated from Hunter Colleg, with a B.A. in Sociology, summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, with Departmental Honors in Sociology and Honors Independent Research.

In 1975, I entered New York University School of Law on a full tuition scholarship, supplemented by a C. Bainbridge Smith scholarship, and graduated in 1978. In 1979, I was admitted to the New York State Bar and to the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

From 1984 to 2000, I was an Administrative Law Judge at the Office of Administrative Trials and Hearings in NYC.

Before that, from 1978 to 1984, I was a staff attorney and legal liaison to the Division of Special Education at the New York City Board of Education.

In my pre-college years, I worked as a clerk-typist, and receptionist.  During my college years, I worked as a housekeeper and a nanny.  I met interesting people and had many adventures.
