Springtime

A cloudy day
A sky of gray
Morning dew turns to rain
Wetness on my windowpane

A brief shower
Holds great power
Green grass growing
Nature is showing

Trees now yawning, stretching high
Reaching for the deep blue sky
Flowers paint the morning landscape
Greeting me like a welcome handshake

Birds building a sturdy nest
Young chicks full of zest
The air filled with signs of spring
Now I hear the blue jay sing

Have I the right to enjoy the day,
To never work and only play
To wile away each twenty-four hours
Enjoying the smell of blossoming flowers?

Others find purpose in the job they do
Succumbing to the daily ballyhoo
I find mine in Central Park
Living life as only a lark

Goddess Light

Goddess Light is available to all
Male, female, short or tall

Its qualities are humility, love and truth
A formula unsuited to the vain and uncouth

Those who claim its due
Profess it by deed and hue

In the Goddess World, these primary colors exist
Green, rose, blue, purple, violet, aqua, onyx

Make no claims of loving humility
Instead, embrace that sublime ability

For in the declaration and display
Goddess Light fades away

Omnipresent, and always at the ready
It is understood by those not too heady

You see, Goddess Light shines best
When kept close to the vest
The Alchemists

Four energies stood at the foot of my bed
Robed in black white gold and red
Who are these clergy?
The masters of metallurgy?

Or maybe masters of dialogism
Offering up the rules of ontologism?
The latter is likely as they offered me a gift
“In readiness,” they said, “for the Great Shift”

“Four levels at once,” they said as they departed
“A journey of courage not for the fainthearted”
Leave this plane of duality
Embrace a new reality

Your life will be sublime
Your emotions at centerline
I signed on for the semester; its length is unknown
Only in love’s perfection can one’s skills be shown

First to the local brain I must go
In its hemispheres a DNA strand to sew
Having woven one strand I look for more
“Remember, my light, no more than four”

The master’s admonition I take to heart
For the journey is the focus, baby steps to start
Finally I reach that most exalted plain
Commonly known as the omnibrain

Here I float among golden particles galore
I’m certain I’m at the Creator’s door
I’m happy to be involved in the alchemy “biz”
‘Cause I’m hanging out in the All That Is
